What's the best way to get from San Francisco Int. Airport to San Luis Obispo?

My Dad is arriving from Australia into San Francisco Airport. He is not comfortable driving himself to San Luis Obispo and airfares are too expensive. What would be the easiest way for him to get to SLO??
