Dying a strip of my hair?

You should never dye your hair after getting out of the shower! The shampoo will wash out all of the natural oils that are essential for your hair to get dyed the best way possible. You want to wait twentyfour hours and it doesn't matter how your hair looks when you dye it. I wouldn't straighten it right before, but you can do your hair like you would normally do for the day and then dye it at night. You want to bleach your hair like a platinum blonde before you dye it pink. It should be really super blonde before you wash it out. After that you should put the pink dye in and leave it in for as long as possible. You can straighten it after you are all done. Good Luck!
