Why are religions so obsessed with ual sins?

I think this is a tricky area. Yes people and Christians can become obsessed with ual sins. However on the counter point people seem to use other sins to justify ual sins. Finding a balance in a society that is obsessed with isn't easy, but I would argue is important. Our actions and sins effect other people. Not just ourselves as many would like to think. The fact that children can be born through our indiscretions and families broken make this an important topic. add to that that we can spread many diseases (not just aids) through our ridiculous attitude toward easy .
