What is a good airsoft gun?

Is there any spring airsoft pistols that go over 500 fps? If not, what about CO2? Couple friends were talking about an airsoft war and I dont like electric airsoft guns, they tend to break, and I can carry more than one pistol atleast. The thing about this plan is that one of the guys that Id be shooting against has a spring sniper rifle he likes to brag about that goes at around 6 or 7 hundred fps. Just looking for something to keep up with that. Not really worried about getting hit. Im the decoy guy.
