Do all men act like this?and should i confront him?

I may be only 19, but i don't know guys my age or in there mid-20's that do things like this. When a guy breaks up or is dumped by his girlfriend, at times the guy's friends will talk about the ex-girlfriends faults and make fun of her a little to make him feel better. But this is done in private, not in public or online for the world to see. Attacking you from behind a computer screen is cowardly and immature. It was uncalled for, disrespectful, and he should be called out on it. But to be the better person, remain calm and keep the peace. Hatred only creates more hatred. Life is too short to dwell within hatred.
